KRR 701
A wayward Kiamichi Railroad GP7 has wandered into UP's Centennial Yard in Fort Worth, perhaps homesick. Delivered to Union Pacific as UP 700 GP7 in February 1953 then renumbered UP 100 eight months later then retired on August 8, 1978. In April 1979 UP 100 was sold to Bargains Galore (seriously) then XTRA purchased this Geep and sold it to LaSalle & Bureau County as LSBC 100, then was sold to Texas-Northwestern keeping the same number, then to Kiamichi as KRR 701. Texas North Orient later purchased this unit, then was sold once more to Transglobal Rail in May 1998 keeping 701 as the number.
