SP 2700 |
Description: |
Delivered to Southern Pacific as MP15DC 2700 in January 1975 this is the only one of the twelve MP15DCs on the SP roster to receive the SPSF merger paint. This switcher would keep this paint scheme well into the UP era being patched first to UP 1298 in January 1997 then to UPY 1298 in March 2000. On March 11, 2002 UPY 1298 was retired, current whereabouts unknown. Most likely scrapped. |
