BNSF 681 |
Description: |
A pair of BNSF C44-9Ws wearing Fakebonnet paint lead a manifest train north towards Saginaw interlocker. BNSF 681 was actually delivered to Santa Fe as ATSF 681 in real Warbonnet paint in August 1994 but was repainted after the merger with BNSF titles and a different font for the cabside road number. Since repainting it appears an engine room fire broke out and quickly got out of hand as well as a bright Omaha Orange replacement HVAC unit behind the cab. Note the two different fonts used on both units roadname and numbers. |

BNSF 681 |
Description: |
Delivered to Santa Fe in August 1994 in Warbonnet paint this locomotive was repainted by BNSF without Santa Fe on the hood. Fast forward eighteen years after the merger and this C44-9W now sports an Omaha Orange HVAC unit and a charred hood from an engine room fire in addition to two different truck styles. |
