| NS 9669 C40-9W rolls west through Pleasant Grove with a short Union Pacific auto parts train heading to Arlington. General Electric built this locomotive at Erie in March 2001. On September 16, 2005, while leading a train it collided with a stopped local on Union Pacific at Shepard, TX. Although suffering significant damage, NS 9669 was repaired and returned to service with the current "Horsehead" logo on the hood and non-standard number font. |
