| UP 834 GP38-2 sorts a cut of cars with a GATX GP38-2 at Davidson Yard. Built in August 1981 for Mopac as MP 2334, this Geep entered Union Pacific as UP 2334 on October 14, 1988 then renumbered UP 834 on July 14, 2000. While Mopac was known for being frugal with their motive power purchases, this Geep is now equipped with air conditioning and remote control gear but still lacks dynamic brakes. |
