From the Hugo Frisco Museum (the site identifies the locomotive as a Davenport but this is a Porter): The Davenport Locomotive Works Steam Locomotive (a 0-4-0T Dinkie) was obtained from a logging operation near Poteau, Oklahoma. Compressed Air Engine #57 |
Description: |
Not a steam engine, not a diesel, a narrow gauge compressed air driven engine. I'm not exactly sure of it's origins but it's last known location was part of the Pate Museum of Transportation. Upon it's closure this old timer ended up parked outside a welding shop in east Fort Worth. |
