Now this is an old diesel! Built in May 1939 and delivered as Phelps Dodge 4, this unit escaped the scrapper's torch and is employed by Econorail as 886 which also happens to be the serial number. |

Stuffed and mounted in the Wichita Falls Railroad Museum with an MKT former troop sleeper and a pair of Katy cabooses. This locomotive was given a cosmetic restoration in the early 1990s but 15+ years in the Texas sun has turned this red locomotive orange. |
