From what I can tell this locomotive was wrecked in late 2011 or in January 2012 and parked in Riverdale, IL. Nearly two years since the accident this locomotive has not been repaired and is now in KCS' Deramus Yard in Shreveport. I wonder if the delay in repairs is due to the insurance problems or if the damage is too extensive making it uneconomical to repair. |
