CCPN 1601 |
Description: |
Wearing GWI orange and black and new CCPN reporting marks, this diesel was originally built for Atlantic Coast Line as GP7 175 in May 1951. After the ACL/Seaboard merger this became SCL 763, SCL 4792, SBD 4792, CSXT 1838, RLIX 438, RLIX 1601, and finally CCPN 1601. Please forgive the quality, I had to use a long lens and shoot through a chain link fence. This loco/number is new to the database. Thanks Randy for the history lesson on this diesel. |
