GRR S1
Title:  GRR S1
Description:  Delivered to Wabash as U25B 507 in August 1962, this locomotive would become Norfolk & Western 3523 in 1965 then renumbered NW 8146 in 1970. After retirement by N&W it was rebuilt by Southeast Specialties as Slug S1 in June 1980 for Georgetown Railroad and arrived in the blue paint scheme. In this photo S-1 shows off the latest red GRR paint with white striping and bold lettering parked outside the Georgetown shop in the namesake city.

Description:  Parked outside the Georgetown Railroad shop is a spotless road slug. Slug S-1 was built new by GE as Wabash 507 U25B in 1962 and after retirement by N&W rebuilt as a slug in 1980.
