Delivered to Southern Pacific as SP 2639 SW1500 in May 1972 this switcher became UP 1206 on on August 7, 1997 then UPY 1206 on September 10, 2001. Union Pacific would retire this SW1500 on December 29, 2010 and now works for Midwest Transload in Willisville, IL as 1206. Midwest Transload does not have an AAR reporting mark. |
